Founded in 2019 by Lisa Emma, the KOVA Foundation has established itself as a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring hope and improving the quality of life for individuals and families in need in Southwest Florida. With unwavering commitment, the foundation channels resources to local charities, ensuring that 100% of every donation goes directly to those who need it most.
KOVA Foundation's mission is realized through its support of organizations such as the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, the Golisano Children's Hospital Toy Drive, and its own "Adopt-a-Family" program during the holidays. These efforts reflect its dedication to creating a positive and lasting impact on the community.

Among the foundation's most touching initiatives is "Emma's Wish," a program that has captured the hearts of residents in Southwest Florida. In partnership with Lee Health Regional Cancer Center, this program grants meaningful wishes to adults facing stage IV breast cancer. Lisa Emma, founder and president of the KOVA Foundation, describes this initiative as "an opportunity to bring joy and create cherished memories during the most challenging times."
Since its inception, Emma's Wish has granted wishes ranging from family trips to Disney World to spa retreats, the purchase of much-needed appliances, car repairs, and family reunions. In 2023, the program raised an impressive $1,379,075 during its inaugural gala at Talis Park Golf Club in Naples, followed by $1,254,871 in 2024, thanks to ticket sales, auctions, and sponsorships from local businesses.
The KOVA Foundation obtains its funding through generous donors and community events, including elegant galas and golf tournaments. These events not only raise vital resources but also increase awareness of the causes they support and help identify future beneficiaries.

Recognition for her work has been swift. Lisa Emma recently received the prestigious "Angel Award" from the Lee Health Cancer Institute, highlighting the positive impact of "Emma's Wish" on adult breast cancer patients in the region.
Any adult resident of Southwest Florida diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer is eligible for Emma's Wish. The foundation continues its work from its offices in Naples, transforming community generosity into moments of hope for those facing difficult circumstances, demonstrating that even in the darkest times, compassion and community support can illuminate the path.
